Learning a language is always possible

We had just celebrated Karnataka Rajyotsava .
It is so nice to see that people feel proud of what they are and what they understand, speak as mother tongue.
This respect and connection with root gave me enough input to write this reflection.
It is impotent to understand why we should stay connected to our root.
*Core concepts are easily understood in mother tongue as our mind do not need to work on translation .
*A language can be means of communication but mother tongue is way of expression.
*One can reside at a place and speak foreign language to earn and explore but native things gives the vibe one enjoy.
The world today is so monetized that we find it very easy to learn a newly created language(programming languages) to communicate to a machine.
Unfortunately at the same time we find our self so reluctant to learn a new language to communicate to a human being to the core of their heart.
To understand this behavior we need to understand what motivates us to learn a new thing ?
  1. Money
  2. People
  3. Surrounding
  4. Situation
Most of us stop at point 1  until we are bond to expand our boundaries or screwed in remaining of above options.
99% people I know are very good at English in spite it is not their mother tongue, it shows they have good trainability factor in linguistics.
Many people asked me how I learnt so many language.
The role model who influenced me to learn new languages is my Dad.
He had studied from Manipal and he knew bit of Kannada.
To keep us(me and siblings) settled while dinner on dining table he use to tell us few words from Kannada like “uppu”(Salt) ”kodi”(give).
We use to feel so wow of Dad and finish food listening to his stories and words from different languages. We used to be excited by the stories
of his real life experiences.
The second major motivation was Mr. P. V. Narasimha Rao.
When he became Prime minister he was introduced as one who knows 17 languages and can speak fluently in many of them.
My tender mind felt that it is possible to learn many language and this clicked me to learn more and more languages.
I had just started my schooling then and I was newly introduced to English as second language.
I decided to learn as many languages I can in my life.
Since then I started searching for a chance to get any possible exposer to a new language.
When I was in middle school I got exposer to Telugu and first thing I learnt was “Annam tinnawa?”.
I got this opportunity because there was a new tenant in our house from Andhra.
Uncle was in CRPF and was able to speak good Hindi whereas  aunty could not understand Hindi.
I took this as an opportunity and we started to communicate in sign language and combination of our own created language.
Any unsettled communication was settled only when uncle was back from his duty.
Next was Tamil and Marathi when I was in high school and competing for President award from Scout and Guide.
We had teams from different parts of India. There was a task to make at least 5 pen friends.
During this I came across Archana from Chennai and Pinky from Belgaum.
In every exchange of letters we exchanged words and meaning of few words from our mother tongue.
The major exposer I got when I shifted to Bangalore for my BE.
My mind was ready to accept language with a good workout and things rolled very swiftly.
Now coming back to what can motivate to learn new language other than money is “signal to mind that it is possible”.

Budget you time now

We had heard of making a budget for expenses.

It's now the demand of era to budget our time on scale or unnecessary distraction and necessary life experience.
We need to draw a clear distribution of time . When to do what. How much time to give to worldly things. Which items to be picked for an individual depending on their interest.

We seriously need to think what and how to drive our life. Accordingly we can plot time distribution on our hobby in early age. Slowly this hobby will be life savior. As it gives us motivation to get up every day with enthusiasm.

Discard all vessel of alluminium and plastic

Aluminum and plastic vessels are cheaper so we see it everywhere people using it.
These vessels are poisoning food consumed. We need to stop it.  Government should ban on these vessels production it self. There is no sence of giving life insurance policies. It is better to control things at root level. It is better to cut the causes of bad health . Then only we can imagine a better and healthy world.

Money driven world

The habit of questioning myself led me to the fact where I was able to understand we are in-fact making our life more complex while we were trying to make it more simple.

Unknowingly we pushed our-self in an era of money driven world. World would have been much better if we were more knowledge oriented as we were in so called "Satyug" . An era until when mechanical engineering was a fact .

I see birds in my garden. They get up early morning they creep and dance. Fly around to find some water and grains. They collect their breakfast in morning. They do not keep a pantry. Life is so easy and happy with less .
A normal working  human being with small kids gets up in morning with a pan or some packaged food in hand. Though we enjoy having too much of emotions ,brain and capabilities to do work and deliver excellence we do not get up and dance thinking it's new morning. Our life gets wast running behind materialistic world. Even we had completed our food, which is the most basic thing in world.
Some 3000 years back we did not had to think what we will eate now. Just pluck fruits around or hunt and was enough to live a happy life.

Mobile phones should not be kept in pockets

When ever I travel and see people around  I see most of them keeping mobile in pockets.
When ever communicating is possible I ask them not to keep mobile in atleast shirt pocket which is very near to heart.
It is bad for our health and so mobile phones should not be kept very  close to our body .
While sleeping we should always keep mobile phones away from us . I also see people keep it near pillow which has bad effect on our brain.

Let's make a habit of  asking people to stop doing it when ever we see them doing so.

Data oriented technology providers are our friend or foe

We as a general people need to understand terms and technology around data .These are still very new topic for general population.

Google, Amazon, Facebook, tweeter is name of few big companies for which data is their base for revenue.

Any technology that works for you is your friend, till the time you are utilizing it in control.
For example, lion can also be commanded by his ring master at the same time a very obedient robot can also become a demon for its creator or user. Lion is a demon, but it works for us as per instructions when under control, whereas obedient robot becomes a demon for us when out of control.

So, it is the control which makes a technology behave as a friend or foe. Here control means the regulatory body which defines the rules and regulations towards the uses of “internet of things” or any technology coming to the market.

I remember some time ago there was a debate between Facebook and Apple services “iOS” on the topic weather data selling is good or not. I could see Facebook was in favor of data selling but Apple was against data selling. This all depends on the way of their business model function. Major business of Facebook is dependent on the data selling whereas iOS is very famous for their data privacy features.

So, it all depends on how it is regulated. In my opinion if any service provider or any technology provider provides you the service or product without infringing your data privacy, is friend. If they are providing you the product or services within the premises of the regulations it will be a friend.

As soon as they start departing from their promises regarding data and privacy it becomes our foe. If these companies start functioning without enough control of regulatory bodies and starts tempering or using our data, it will be the biggest nightmare for us.

Regulatory bodies also must keep updating them in pace with the growing technology.

In a recent example we can see murderer of Kamlesh Tiwari tracked his location by using Google map. May be regulatory bodies should learn a lesson how to keep a tap on this type of use in future. Technology can be used to stop murders instead of a help in murder.

Angreji se Samman ka kya sambandh.

Ek nayi bhasha ka Gyan hamesha labhprad hai.Par bhasha avibyakti se jyada kuch nahi.
Matree bhasha me kafi Bhawna bhi jur jati hai. Ham Apne AAP ko jyada or satik tarike se vyakt kar pate hai. Ham Sab mil kar hi samaj banate hai or samaj ki soch bhi. Hame hi Angrejo dwara paida ki gai heen Bhawna Ko Nikal kar pekna hai.Apni bhasha me hamari kabiliyat badh jati hai. Mai ki si nayi bhasha sikhne ke khilaf nahi, par Mai Bharat ki kshetriye bhashao ke upyog par Joe deti hu.Aaj ke Yug me ham aashani se kisi bhi Bhasa ya leepi Ko Apne anushar anuwadit kar sakte hai. Phir praysh jarur karna chahiye.
French ,German, Chinese aadi Apne bhash or lipi me Sara kaam karte hai. Kahi koi hinta ka Bodh nahi.Fir bhartiyo me ye hinta kaha se aagai. Angreji Bhasha se na jyada hai na kaam. Eshme Maan Samman Ko jorna murkhta hai.
